Do You Have A Relationship With Jesus Christ?

Salvation simply means the act of saving. When used in a religious sense, to save means to rescue someone from the eternal consequences of sin. Everyone needs salvation because, as the Bible tells us, "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," and the wages of sin is death (Romans 3:23; 6:23).

To have Jesus Christ as your Savior you must acknowledge that you have sinned, that your sins have placed you under a sentence of death and that you need forgiveness through Christ’s sacrifice. You must then accept Jesus as your personal Savior, recognizing that He died for you.

If you're ready to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior repeat this prayer aloud to God:

"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you.
I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you.
Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus
Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer.
I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart
from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You,
and to do Your will for the rest of my life.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

If you've prayed this prayer of salvation with true conviction in your heart you are now a follower of Jesus. Welcome to the family! Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something - a warm glow, a tingle, or some other mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or you may not. If you have prayed the prayer of salvation and meant it, you are now a follower of Jesus. The Bible tells us that your eternal salvation is secure! It says, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Once you've accepted Jesus Christ, the bible says that we are to follow up on that commitment and grow closer with Him daily. Here are some steps you can take to further your relationship with God:

  • Join a local Bible based church. If you live in the Sacramento or Elk Grove, California area we humbly extend an invitation to our home church World Impacting Church Ministries. Click Here to visit the website.

  • Purchase a Bible to read. If you do not have the resources to purchase a Bible,
    Contact Us
to request one and we will gladly donate one to you.

  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20)

  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.

  • Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.

  • Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus. Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.

We thank God for your soul being saved and we hope to hear from you via email or telephone about how your life has changed dramatically since receiving Christ. God bless you!
